Considering just letting this blog go. Even though I love Joy, it’s just not as fun as Jasmine and Winona. I’m also not as connected to people here as in the trainer part of the community. The community is somehow open but still very clique-y. I’m not interactive with people because I’m shy, scared to interact with others and I can’t think of questions to save my life. I want to interact with people so badly, but I’m just so scared. Especially on Skype. I want to talk to people, but I’m afraid I’ll make a giant fool of myself or bother people.
I love this part of the community, but it’s so clique-y it’s hard to find your niche without interacting. And when you’re as shy as I am…it’s damn near impossible. It takes me a long time to even ask my mother for things, so that should tell you how painfully shy I am.
If I drop Joy, I’ll still man the Skype list and help on the History blog, but as Jasmine.
I love this community dearly, but I still feel like an outsider. I just… I don’t know.

@Ponyta: Yes, yellow is a girl. She hides her ponytail in her hat. Originally, it was because she had to set out on a journey to find Red who had been missing for quite a while. Green told her to do so, so that nobody would find out who she was. You don’t find this out until later (unless you know spoilers which a lot of people do.
@Umbreon: No, it doesn’t make a lot of sense for Gym Leaders to be a part of team rocket, but I think the writers just took some artistic liberties. Pokemon was still pretty new when this came out and if you’re going strictly off the games, then you can do a lot of things.
As for the more than six Pokemon thing, it’s not an official rule in the mangaverse, it’s more of an unspoken one. People only carry six Pokemon because they have to divide their attention so much.
As for the evolve/devolve thing…I don’t really remember that, but it’s been a few weeks since I read the Yellow arc. I’m currently at the Emerald one (the sixth). It gets better and more consistent with gym leaders being good and stuff.
